Would You Be My Life?

You are my life I love you more Than I can ever say Wherever you are There I will be- For ever and ever! I may not often tell you Of the love within my heart- Of all the dreams, hopes and plans of which you are a part- But still I'm sure you know How much I love to be with you, How much you mean to me. Here goes my real life proposal to my Angel... Sweet as Saccharin, cute like a doll, A mermaid as pristine, as a dust free rainfall. The only girl whom I loved from them all. It’s you my Angel, in whose love did I fall. It’s ironic that we met so late, But you are my destiny, you are my fate. I knew on day one that you are unique, But never thought you were the one whom I seek. When you bid me adieu and said ‘See You’ My lonely heart said ‘I will miss you’ Next few days, awake or asleep, I saw you, just you. I decided to blurt out my feelings that I love you. I am a different guy from many conventional. My love for you is not ephemeral but eternal. I won’t marry anyone else save you, It’s obvious because I love you, just you. I don’t know whether you would like this; But life without you is listless, without bliss. It’s stupid to ask- ‘Would you be my wife?’ I now put the question of my life- ‘Would you be my life?’ -6th August, 2009
