Trust No More

by Barbara
(Dos Palos, California USA)

I could trust no more
Not like before,
This is my worst nightmare
Don't do this, this isn't fair,
Hear my plea
I want to be free,
I saw you kissing her
And I said, "It's over!"
You said, "Okay"
I cried all day,
I learned my lesson
Love isn't my profession,
I ran out the door
Now I can't trust no more.

I don't agree that it wasn't your best effort because I think this is one of your better poems.

Pretty Good
by: Josh

A lot of true feelings in this one. Can tell comes from experience. Learn...but don't give up. Not your best effort for the poem...but sometimes what comes... is what comes...
