True Friend

by Dr. Nuz Ayesha
(Bangelore, India)

I met in my crossroads of life,
when my career was at strife.

Alone was I, far from friends,
lost in thoughts and hard to come in terms.

Her smile and care in words touched my heart,
Felt I knew her since ages but was just living distance apart.

She caressed my dreams and thoughts,
I heard her speaking in my thoughts.

Her approving eyes kept me move on,
with a glimpse of hers, my tears were gone.

As she held my hands and consoled,
I could smile as my tears rolled.

This is my friend and best senior I have ever met,
I'm blessed I can bet.

She is an angel as I would call,
'Piyu' is her name who's always there on my call...

Nice poem. Not quite sure I followed all of it, but seems like you have found a jewel. Beautiful picture.
