Ruthless Age

by Jesse Dyer
(Fairview, PA)

Let them talk
They act like they know,
They say you're too young
What do they know?

Love is about living each moment
And living it right,
It's not about age
It's about holding tight.

If we dare to dream
Of the love everyone speaks of,
Why must you tear a seam
Leave him broken?
Let him go
He's no longer open.

I mended his heart
I make him smile,
Why tear it apart
Throw it all away,
Like it or not
I'm here to stay.

Age is nothing but a number
I see deep when I get a glimpse of eye,
He holds me tight
Together we cry.

Why must you ruin
What we worked so hard to make,
Are you not happy
So you're forced to take?

Well, his hand I'll hold for forever more
I will not break him
Only open the door.

Hold On
by: Katie

Hold on to what you have found. Too few people never find what you have. Age...you are right...just a number.

Never too young and never too old. Only you know what your hearts hold. Oops, I made a rhyme. :)
