Race

by Barbara
(Dos Palos, California USA)

I lost the race
I lost my love
Tears streaming down my face
That's what I'm afraid of
I ran my best
I still lost
Can't rest
Love can't be crossed
She got first
You were glad
I was the worst
And I was mad
You like her better
My heart burned
Untill I got a letter
Your mind turned
It was a mistake
The race I lost
All of it was fake
Our life became uncrossed

Confused
by: Josh

A little tough to follow if I had not read the others. Sounds a little like a soap opera ... sure he is worth it?
