Just If I Could Know

by Nitish
(Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, INDIA)

Just if I could know...:)
If I could know
My feelings were the reasons
that made you cry
and pained you dry.
I could have contained
all of those my heartbeats
locked it in a box and
destroyed the key.
Just if I could know.

Oh, I know
Loving you was like
Loving a moon
but if I could know
my feelings were the reasons
digging scars on your face
through all those precious tears.
I could have bundled
all of those worthless letters
before sending to you
and burnt them to flames.
Just if I could know.

Go, I set you free now
free like a bird
to seek for your own rainbow.
But if I could know
my feelings were the reason
that kept you chained
and bruised you whole.
I could have taken off
all those chains of my fancy dream
cut my heart open and
spilled you free.
Just if I could know
well, all of this
well in time.

I found two flaws in a nearly flawless poem! Very well written

Mistake 1- seek for your own rainbow...instead it should be seek your own rainbow.

Mistake 2- you wrote at a place my dream..it sould be my dreams!

Rest is superb!
Correct me if i m wrong!
